The Emergency Binder helps you organize contacts, insurance, household information, medical and care details, document locations, financial references, digital accounts, and final wishes in one place. The Binder contents stay on your device, and the installed app is designed to work offline after activation.

Useful output
Print it, back it up, and see what is coming due.
Print / Save PDF. The filled Binder can print a cover page, first-day checklist, table of contents, section pages, and a Coming Due table. Blank worksheets can also be printed.
Upcoming dates. Insurance renewals, warranty expirations, and digital-service renewal dates entered into reminder-enabled fields can appear in the Coming Due view for the next 90 days.
Supporting photo. Vehicle, warranty, and big-purchase entries can include an optional photo such as a serial plate or receipt. The photo is resized locally before it is stored.
Backup / restore. Save a Binder backup file under your own control and restore it on another installation when needed.
Privacy and safety choices
Your Binder contents stay on your device.
The names, addresses, medical information, insurance information, notes, photos, and other Binder contents you enter are stored locally on that installation. They are not uploaded to MCMLV1 LLC as part of normal Binder use.
The Binder does use the internet to load/install the application, verify a Gumroad license during activation, and perform normal PWA delivery/update checks while online. Those requests do not include the Binder contents.
Passwords and financial account numbers do not belong in it
The Binder intentionally does not ask for passwords or PINs. For financial accounts, record only the last four digits and where the paperwork lives. Banks, courts, executors, and other institutions may request additional information through their own secure processes.
Digital-account entries record where a password is kept rather than the password itself.

Apple install-first rule. On iPhone/iPad, and Safari on Mac, install the Binder before entering important information. Apple keeps the installed web app's local storage separate from the ordinary browser context.
The Binder's Apple onboarding screen tells you how to install first, keep/copy the Gumroad license key, then activate in the installed app. If installation is not available in the current browser, open the page in Safari.
Before you put real information in it
Local by design means you control the copies.
- Secure the device. The Binder can contain sensitive household information and does not have its own separate app lock.
- Backup files are not encrypted. Binder backups are customer-controlled JSON files and may include resized photos. Anyone with access to a backup file may be able to read its contents.
- Keep a printed backup where appropriate. Consider keeping an appropriate printed Binder in a secure place that trusted people can reach when needed.
- MCMLV1 cannot recover your local data. If device/browser storage is lost, cleared, reset, or erased without a usable backup, we cannot restore those Binder contents for you.
- Printed copies need protection too. A printed emergency copy is intentionally readable by the people who can access it, so choose its storage location carefully.
License and purchase
One purchase for your household.
- $14.99 one-time. No subscription for the Emergency Binder.
- Perpetual household license. Use the valid license on devices in the purchaser's household.
- Terms are accepted at activation. New activations require an affirmative checkbox agreeing to the Terms of Use and acknowledging the Privacy Notice and local-data disclosures.
- Each device keeps its own Binder. There is no automatic cloud synchronization. Move data intentionally with Save backup and Restore.
- Reactivation is supported. Keep your Gumroad license key with your receipt in case you need to activate again or on another device in your household.
- 30-day refund policy. Reply to the Gumroad receipt or contact support; approved refunds are processed through Gumroad.
Gumroad handles checkout and provides the purchase/license information used for activation.
The Emergency Binder is an organizational tool, not legal, medical, tax, financial, or emergency advice. It does not replace a will, trust, advance directive, professional care, or emergency services.
